6 Day February 24 to March 1: We guarantee you'll touch a wild gray whale trip
Sample itinerary for 7 day trip
Day #1:  Leave the border bright and early. Travel to Guerrero Negro, arrive in the afternoon. We make a great lunch stop near the remote village of Catavina. There we will have the opportunity to visit an interesting ancient cave painting site. A short three hour drive gets us to our destination. After getting situated in our rooms we meet for an orientation talk by our own Baja Jones.

Days #2 and 3 :Meet for breakfast and then travel to the inner lagoon where we will spend the day whale watching, lunch will be served by the friendly Baja Jones staff. Then weather permitting a second trip out onto the lagoon may be in order. The afternoon and evening are unstructured. Dinner will be prepared by some of the best chefs in Central Baja. Time permitting those who aren't too tired can take an interesting ride out to El Faro(the lighthouse) for birdwatching and general sight seeing.

Day #4 : Meet for breakfast. Today we venture to the outer lagoon. We expect to see more mating adults, possibly closer views of breeching and fewer babies. The afternoon we traditionally drive out to el faro (the lighthouse).   Along the way we observe wildlife in the salt marsh, especially the thousands of birds that stalk this grassy salt marsh area.  Afterwards we will relax at Marios Palapa while enjoying a great seafood dinner.

Day 5:  Following breakfast at Puerto Viejo Restaurant we will travel about 40 minutes to the newest observation at the mid point of Laguna Ojo de Liebre.  This exciting area was first opened to whale watching for the 2004 season.  It is the most undeveloped area available to view whales from.  We frequently see breaching whales while sitting on the shore eating lunch.  This location has quickly become a favorite spot for many of our guests.   A morning whale watch will be followed by lunch and the opportunity for some beachcombing to gather some of the many shells scattered about this location.

Day #6 : All good trips eventually end. And so will ours. This is our travel back to the U.S. day. We'll leave early and arrive in the United States mid-afternoon, depending on the border crossing
