Relax and enjoy our laid back style. There is more to enjoy than than just the best whale watching in the world. The large tent is the focal point of our camp. Spacious and comfortable inside. With walls that open to the Bay to allow unimpeded views of the whales, that play so close to shore. A well stocked bar, board games or nature hikes in the surrounding uninhabited desert. For those of you interested in birds or nature viewing other than whales, this is a terrific location. Over 200 species have been identified at the Lagoon during the winter migration. More than 150 species are commonly seen here. You will marvel at the flock of over a thousand birds, consisting of Sand pipers, Godwits, Whimbrels and Curlews as these four species fly in formation together. Simply
Awesome! The marsh to the right is home to a flock of over 50 white pelicans.
