                       9 Day Philippine Island Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive at the Manila airport. We’ll meet you there and the adventure begins. We will overnight at a local hotel in the Makati district so that the group can gather. Time this evening to explore the town. Exciting night life in this area.

Day 2: Today we leave Manila by air and fly south a couple hundred kilometers. The short one hour flight only allows limited luggage. Read the trip suggestions and packing list carefully. After landing we’ll continue from the airport another 2 to 3 hours overland to the village of Donsol. Here we will register with the local village tourism authorities, for our boat and also to view the required orientation video.
Day 3, & 4 : Each day we will go out on the water to search for and swim with the Butanding (whale shark). Afternoons and evenings are unscheduled with time to relax or explore the local area on your own or with other group members. We do our boat trip in a fast catamaran style boat known as a bangka. Unique and fun to ride in. We have expectations of sighting whale sharks within the first few minutes of leaving the dock. Normally the first shark is sighted within 10 kilometers of the dock.

Day 5: Today we travel back to Manila then continue on by air to Boracay Beach. We will arrive in the early afternoon giving everyone time to shop and to explore this interesting beach site village.
Day 6, 7 & 8: Explore Boracay Beach and the vicinity. We will snorkel at several locations while here. One evening we may travel 3 hours to another small remote island to stay overnight at the local village. This will allow us to visit some amazing diving and snorkeling locations while experiencing real island life, with real island people.
Day 9: Departure day. We leave Boracay in the morning after breakfast, arriving at the Domestic Manila Airport around 10:30 AM. You should schedule your departure flight for 2:00 PM or later or plan on staying tonight in Manila and then leaving tomorrow.
