Day #1: Depart the Cebu-Mactan Airport in the early afternoon. Arrival in Cebu around 2:30 PM in the afternoon. Our driver will meet you at the airport and transport you about one hour to the shore side hotel you will stay for the next two nights. You will have some free time this afternoon to explore the local area. This is a good time to view the mandatory 5 minute orientation video. Enjoy an evening firefly boat ride for an additional 500 PHP. Day #2: Following breakfast you will walk over to the nearby Butanding Boat Office and begin your 3 hour whale shark snorkel trip. The ocean waters offshore of Donsol are inhabited by more whale sharks than possibly any other location in the world. Our staff has snorkeled and dived at every major whale shark location around the world and we rate Donsol as THE VERY BEST! Enjoy your adventure. After your boat trip you will have free time again. Most of our clients are tired out after their 3 hours and are ready to relax, take a nap, or just sit and sip a cool drink. But sometimes we have energetic travelers who choose to do a second snorkel trip with the butanding. You can elect to do this for around 1,000 PHP, depending on how many people go out on your boat. Day #3: Today you will be transported from the hotel to the Legaspi Airport and then continue on your return to Cebu. If you are continuing to some other destination such as Manila, your travel agent will assist you in coordinating times and air tickets. And so ends a very thrilling and action packed event. |
