The storm continues. Charlie takes the boat out in the bay for protection. We lie low and listen to the rush of the waves against the rocks. The stream beside our camp swells with storm runoff. At times the wind abates, and we peak outside in hopes the storm in breaking. Every time a new squall rolls in.

Towards dinnertime Charlie and Namen return. After much discussion, we decide that come morning, we will pack up camp and try to return to Pond Inlet.

Late in the day, Charlie returns from Fair Weather Bay where he had taken the boat.  Charlie wants to break camp and return to Pond tonight instead of as scheduled in the morning.  I veto this idea.  Tomorrow is our weather delay day and so we don't really need to be back to Pond Inlet until tomorrow.  In the worst case scenario we could actually leave Wednesday morning and go from the boat directly to the airport.
