Click to email us Gray whale trips 4 & 5 day, begin and end in San Diego. You ride south in our comfortable 15 passenger vans. This is up close and very exciting whale watching. Whale watching takes place on the Pacific Coast (West) side of Baja in remote Laguna Ojo de Liebre (formerly known as Scammon's Lagoon). Special 6 day gray whale trips begin and end in Loreto and then ride across the peninsula a shorter drive time. Blue whale trips originate at Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico. You fly in and we meet you at the airport. This is whale watching of the more traditional style and takes place on the Sea of Cortez in small (25 foot) power boats. Gray and Blue whale combination trips originate at Loreto, Baja California Sur, Mexico. You fly in and we meet you at the airport. We combine both of the two types of whale watching. These trips are all inclusive. They begin and end in San Diego. We travel over the road in Suburban or van. Also check out the Loreto Blue Whale adventures. Gray whale trips are 5 days in length. Combo trips take you to both sides of Baja and put you close to Gray whales and Blue whales and many other species of cetacean. You sleep in clean motel rooms on soft beds. We eat most meals in very nice restaurants. Unlike the tent camps, where you are isolated from the every day life of Baja, we interact with the local people all day. You will not only experience the whale watching trip of a lifetime, but you will have the opportunity to meet and learn about the Mexicans who live near these amazing animals.
